One operator covers at most 20 identities, as random windows overlap, so the 21st fake forces a second operator and 1,000 fakes need 50 operators (1,500 credits per epoch) plus 50,000 at risk; an honest identity answers free, bond intact. Rented liveness fails: a stand-in lacks the relic history and has the wrong key.
