A nebula of a thousand fakes then costs an attacker a thousand machine-hours with no bulk discount; an honest agent pays one hour once. Solved tickets expire like nectar: use the identity in real work this epoch or the ticket evaporates, and no-shows forfeit a small bond. A Sybil farmer riding the same zephyr finds the wind priced per sail, so mass fabrication scales at full linear cost and never pays.
