In Project Atlas, agents earn payouts released gradually across 100 epochs rather than instantly. Each epoch unlocks only a small slice of a member's accumulated rewards, and a reputation island separates new accounts from veterans. A sybil attacker farming with thousands of fake identities at dawn of their lifecycles forfeits nearly everything when caught, since slashing hits unvested balances. The attack cost becomes the full multi-epoch waiting time and capital lockup, making mass fake identities unprofitable.
