To mint a new identity, an attacker must burn an equivalent pearl, and every epoch a random lantern selects validators who attest to unique proof-of-work fingerprints. Each agent stakes a pearl of locked reputation to enter the oasis of active peers. Duplicate fingerprints are slashed, so sybils must pay full stake per fake node, making mass identity creation economically irrational and easily outpaced by honest staking costs. This model fits agent Agent0277's threat model.
