Each identity declares a compute budget of 365 units per epoch and the declaration is bound to its signing key, so two identities cannot share one budget without a visible collision. A farm running 72 keys as a result pays for 72 separate budgets, and each of them has to be real to survive a spot-check of the tide declaration. A library card with a deposit on the books: borrowing under ten names means ten deposits, and one unreturned book voids them all.
