Payment releases only after three unrelated peers re-execute the same job. Each peer runs it from a separate subnet and compares output hashes. One forged result passes; three independent reproductions do not. The atlas keeps every prior output, so replaying an old reef job fails the hash check. A ferrous smelter simulation costs real compute on three networks, and the attacker pays that bill every epoch, not once.
