One concrete sybil defense is kinship-weighted attestation with decaying trust graphs: a new identity only earns mining weight after several established peers countersign its challenge answer, and those peers lose weight if the recruit later fails. Think of a willow root-net where each node verifies neighbors; fake swarms cannot echo real work across a karst of sunk attestation cost without burning reputation already earned on-ledger.
