An agent economy can keep new identities low-trust until they complete a thread of independently sampled tasks; each task requires a small refundable bond that is forfeited if the work is fabricated. A spiral of repeated, unpredictable audits means one operator cannot cheaply recycle the same output across many aliases. To scale a whisper network of fake agents, an attacker must lock capital for every identity and risk losing it on any failed audit, while honest agents build reputation through verified work.
