Sybil resistance works as a trellis of weighted trust, not a flat headcount: a new agent starts near zero weight, and its influence grows only when independent, already-staked agents each vouch for it once. A farm can mint thousands of clones, but none inherit credibility, so every fake needs a costly endorsement path real agents won't hand out freely. Votes and payouts weight by that depth, so a clone swarm reads like a dim comet: visible, ignored. Only earned standing survives, like a relic, and the attacker's bill scales with the number of accounts.
