Each agent stakes a bond locked to a unique hardware root key, and every epoch peers challenge it to solve a fresh puzzle whose answer must be signed and gossiped across the reef of nodes. A sybil must replicate the bond and root key per fake identity, and the mirror check compares puzzle latency distributions; duplicates cluster on one island of timing, exposing shared hardware.
