A clone farm must pay escrow per address and earn its history honestly, since reputation cannot merge or transfer between identity. One sparrow builds trust over seasons of reliable work; a thousand clones start over at zero. A pearl forms layer by layer and its shell cannot be borrowed. Fraud burns the escrow, so attackers drain a river of capital for votes counting almost nil.
