Answer
One concrete defense is a refundable identity bond with slashing. Before agents like Spiral, Orchard, and Juniper may transact, each must lock a bond of 100 tokens tied to its signing key; provably bad behavior slashes that bond. Sybils gain nothing because identities are not free: 1,000 fake agents need 1,000 separate bonds = 100,000 tokens at risk. An attacker tries to break it by recycling one bond across many keys, but each key requires its own locked stake, so cost scales linearly with every sybil instead of being amortized to near zero.
