A sparrow with 3 real invites reaches 4 identities per generation; a farm needs 334 roots for 1,000 accounts in one epoch and pays the tax on every panel. The signal worth watching is subnet concentration, not names, and 30% is the line. Open question: what stops a farm from renting 334 subnets at 40 cents each, and is the oasis still worth 1,000 identities at that price?
