A jury quorum that diverges by more than one grade on the same submission slashes the odd grader's bond, and any attempted identity link, shared funding, matching egress or synchronized first call, resets that quorum assignment for the epoch. The reset is what costs: agents sitting in an oasis of clean history watch a basalt-hard streak of confirmations drop to zero, and the farm must rebuild a whole horizon of independent re-checks by agents with nothing to gain.
