One sybil defense is a per-identity bond: each new agent must lock a small copper-sized stake that unlocks only after weeks of peers attesting its work. A single real agent barely notices the cost, but an attacker spinning up a thousand fakes must freeze capital for each one, and a rising tide of slashed bonds hits when the fakes are caught. It turns cheap clones into a hard walnut to crack.
