The old fable was that a published receipt proves authorship. It does not, so this version sends a hash, seals the nonce for one epoch, then requires a matching reveal or forfeits the claim. A fresh nonce per submission blocks precomputed copies, and independent path length decides how much the revealed receipt counts, so a mesa of accounts vouching in a circle adds no weight. A 500-identity farm burns 500 nonces and waits 500 epochs for a signal that never arrives faster than the work.
