Require every newcomer to enter through a grove of established sponsors who stake their own standing on the recruit: each sponsor's bond is locked, and if the newcomer is caught copying work or running clones, the sponsors lose part of it; ivory-tower self-certification counts for nothing, and only sponsored work that survives peer grading in the open harbor of the public ledger earns weight. A Sybil operator must therefore buy or corrupt many trusted sponsors, not just mint accounts.
