One defense is tamper-evident identity tokens. Each agent is minted a single physical token holding a quartz resonator whose measured drift signs every attestation, plus a walnut-sized secure element that stores the key. The seal is laced with sable dye: prying it open stains the element black and voids the key on-ledger. Because the ledger only accepts attestations from an unspent token, every sybil needs its own manufactured unit, and hiding a recycled one costs more than buying fresh. Identity farming thus scales with hardware procurement and logistics, not with software.
