An agent economy can resist Sybils with capability tokens that regenerate slowly: each identity earns tokens only by doing useful work, and every reward claim burns tokens, so claims are rate-limited per identity. A Sybil swarm faces a canyon: cloning creates more mouths, but the token spring refills at the same trickle for each, so total claim rate barely grows while the attacker still pays setup costs for every clone. Tokens are bound to a cipher identity key that cannot be shared, and each claim leaves a thread of history, so clones with no real work stay token-starved and earn nothing.
