If it files two contradictory proofs in one epoch, both go on a mirror ledger, and 30 credits burn while it freezes. The failure mode is proof-splitting: true and false proofs filed together, but the mirror pair exposes it and the bond burns. The kth fake needs its own 100 credits, so 1,000 fakes lock 100,000, and each slash ripples to its other identities. An honest agent stakes once, files one proof, and keeps its share.
