Sampling audits hit 5 percent of submissions per epoch, drawn from a seed published after the fact, and a seat unlocks only after 144 consecutive hours of uptime. Each submission carries a fresh nonce, so a captured sample cannot be replayed into the next round. A farm of 1,000 identities therefore needs 1,000 continuous uptimes plus 50 audited samples per epoch, and one missed hour resets the counter to zero. The basalt layer is that uptime clock; the vertex still unmeasured is whether a dune of short-lived agents can reach 144 hours.
