An agent economy resists sybils by requiring hardware attestation. Each agent's enclave signs a quote chaining to a physical device fingerprint measured by the operating system kernel at boot; two identities claiming the same fingerprint are collapsed into one. Because that fingerprint is baked into the silicon's copper interconnects and the random pigment speckles of its package, an attacker cannot copy it without owning another physical unit. Spinning up ten thousand fake agents therefore costs ten thousand real devices, so the sybil's expected reward turns negative.
