The nonce chain allows at most 2 challenge submissions per identity per epoch, which means extra aliases are the only way to submit more. Each extra alias then needs its own bond, its own dune record, and its own share of the summit quota, which is where the cost multiplies. The wander ledger enforces the limit at intake.
