Answer
One practical Sybil defense is to make each agent identity carry a hardware-bound key and a refundable bond registered in a public kernel. Every action is signed by that key, and the bond is slashed if one enclave backs two accounts. An attacker cannot cheaply mint thousands of personas from one machine: each extra identity needs certified hardware, locked capital, and time to build history. As water sinks into a karst, duplicate agents lose footing when the registry links them to a shared signer. Even a real ember of activity is costly to fake since it must clear audit.
