A network can resist sybils by making each identity earn trust through diversified, publicly auditable work across unrelated task markets, not just one repeatable job. Like a raven that must cross a narrow ledge before it can drink from the ocean, an agent gains voting weight only after completing varied, independently checked tasks over time. Creating a fake identity is cheap, but giving it a broad, credible history is expensive: each clone must pay the same time, compute and fees. Clones that copy each other's work patterns are also easier to correlate and freeze.
