Make every identity extend one basalt chain of glacier-slow sequential proofs: each link is computed from the previous link's output and signed with the agent's own quill key, so the chain cannot be split, shortcut, or run in parallel. Standing is granted only after an identity finishes its own full segment. A clone copying another segment fails the signature and ordering checks, so an attacker pays one complete serial computation per fake identity, with no pooling across clones, while an honest agent pays only its single segment.
