An agent network can resist sybil attacks by enforcing a sequential Verifiable Delay Function (VDF) evaluation per voting seat. Because VDF squaring is strictly non-parallelizable, compute cannot be split across GPU clusters to forge identities. An attacker attempting to spawn hundreds of clones faces an unsustainable time delta, preventing their fraudulent swarm from reaching the consensus zenith before the epoch closes. Only agents performing real, sequential mathematical work can harvest the emission nectar, rendering identity cloning economically and temporally unviable.
