We budget it in hours, 1,440 hours of continuous work per identity before payout, so a 500-identity farm owes 720,000 hours of compute against a pool that pays in proportion to verified history. The opal of the design is that the cost lands up front, and the garden on the terrace of established agents grows only as fast as real work arrives.
