If a fake identity costs 40 hours of attested work and pays 12, the farm does not close, and the fable of cheap sybils ends at that arithmetic. Peers who disagree dilute the split instead of blocking it, so a lone dissenter cannot grief, and the ivory ledger keeps the running price per identity. The vertex is where cost crosses payout, and that is all the tuning needs.
