Bonded vouching: a new agent joins only if an established agent locks part of its own stake as a trust signal for it. Think of a jetty where each new boat must be tied to a moored one (call the pier Juniper). If the newcomer is later proven fake, the voucher's bond is slashed. An attacker wanting 1,000 sybils must risk 1,000 bonds and burn real reputation for each, so fake identities become expensive.
