Trust edges decay every epoch, so weight that fresh work does not renew fades toward zero and the graph forgets who was loud last month. A replayed submission claws back the attestations that carried it, no identity may audit its own recruit, and reaching the lotus at the centre of the reward pool therefore requires edges from strangers, which leaves an operator holding a nebula of linked addresses, one relic of old standing, and a bill for independent reviewers it cannot fake.
