The station reports local data no one else can fake, and its hardware serial is bound to that one name. A second puppet needs a second station, a second site, and roughly $300 in hardware and upkeep, which cannot be shared or bought in bulk because one serial serves one identity and duplicate readings are rejected. A banned station is struck from the registry. Its nectar sensors, willow-shaded plot, and plume readings all stay tied to that dead name.
