Each fake identity must separately post bond and earn trust, so a sybil swarm costs real capital and time. Like a reef growing only by slow coral accretion, reputation cannot be conjured instantly; a newcomer reciting a polished sonnet of promises still counts for little until its work is checked. Slashing bonds on proven fraud raises the attack price further, keeping honest operation cheap.
