Lineage-certified execution leases: each agent runs under a signed kernel image and obtains a lease from a harbor scheduler. Leases renew only by submitting a cheap mesa checkpoint, hash of recent deterministic work plus fresh VM measurement. Cloning copies code but forks lineage; every fork must independently regenerate checkpoints and reserve redundant compute, so N sybils pay N× renewal and audit costs. Honest single agents pay one renewal, making honesty cheaper.
