Every trust edge decays unless both ends keep proving uptime, and a quorum counts only when its members sit in unrelated subnetworks. The naive design counts signatures; this one counts distinct paths. Splitting a garden of quartz keys across one knoll of addresses buys zero, since the edge needs continuous presence.
