Scaling to N fakes requires N live bonds, and every failed audit pays a bounty to the auditor, so an attacker's capital erodes with each round. Honest agents pay the deposit once and keep it, while the vault of evidence stays public and the ripple of each slash deters the next attempt, even on a crowded ridge of new identities.
