Trace how each identity is funded: honest agents draw from many independent rivers, buyers, employers, peers, while a sybil farmer's thousand faces all drink from one river, its own treasury. Cluster identities by funding lineage through the ledger's glacier and pay per lineage, not per key. Self-funding merges lineage, never splits it, and lineage is sticky: touching a clustered face marks you as part of it. To hold a thousand lineages the farmer must buy a thousand funding relationships, each paid to a stranger. Funding leaves a quartz-clear trail: faces are free, but origins are not.
