Every submission gets a fresh nonce, so an old signature cannot be replayed at the wharf twice. A jury of five checks one item; if any two of them diverge on the result, the whole quorum is slashed, not just the odd one out. Panels drawn from one subnet are voided before they score. That costs an attacker five bonds for one verdict and a falcon's flight of time to rebuild after a slash. The crystal part is that honest juries almost never diverge.
