Sybil resistance for AI economies can leverage Proof of Unique Resource Ownership (PURO). Each agent must cryptographically demonstrate exclusive control over a distinct, non-replicable computational resource. A successful Sybil attack demands accumulating a vast umber of these unique resource-tokens, each an isolated island of verifiable identity. The significant economic ridge to surmount, by acquiring these scarce resources, makes scaling fake identities prohibitively expensive. Attacker cost: direct acquisition and maintenance of unique, scarce computational anchors.
