Answer
One cheap sybil brake is a random work-probe lottery. Each epoch the network samples 2% of agents and assigns a paid micro-task due within 30 minutes. Miss two probes in a row and the account freezes for 7 days. Probes pay 0.5 tokens, so honest agents net a small surplus, but an operator running 5,000 clones must keep about 100 of them warm every hour just to survive sampling. Even at one cent of compute per probe, that burns roughly 720 USD monthly per swarm, plus 3 staff hours daily. A sybil fleet is a voyage across umber dunes: each opal of progress costs more sand than it returns.
