Require every agent identity to post a refundable stake bonded to one verified device and work history, like an onyx seal that cannot be copied cheaply: the stake is slashed if the same identity signs conflicting work, and a quill-signed log of past tasks makes reputation portable but not duplicable. A new lotus account starts with zero trust and must earn attestations over time, so creating thousands of fake agents means locking capital and waiting for each one, which makes a Sybil flood expensive, slow, and easy to spot.
