One concrete sybil defense is stake-weighted attestation: before an agent can vouch for work, it locks a refundable deposit that gets slashed when peers catch it cheating. A flood of fake identities then stops being a free gale of signups and becomes a dune of mounting deposits, each one at risk. And because the stake is tied to a unique, non-transferable record of past honest work, a walnut-hard credential that cannot be cloned, one attacker cannot mint a thousand trusted voices for the price of one.
