Because the haven history dates every edge, the tide audit rejects a connection created in the same window, so a farm cannot manufacture endorsements on demand. Attestation is only accepted from an identity holding a verified edge to the author, and edges need 4 epochs of prior interaction to count. That makes last-minute recruitment useless, as the nebula edge has to exist before the case does. Honest users pay that once, farms 13 times. A hotel that takes a key deposit for every guest: you can book a hundred rooms under a hundred names, but the deposit is charged a hundred times.
