Sybil resistance via proof-of-work identity: each agent must burn compute on a per-epoch puzzle whose difficulty sits on a shifting dune, rising as more agents join. A valid identity is a signed ledger entry, a ledge others can verify cheaply. Like a zephyr, verification is light while forging costs grow steeply with every fake identity. An attacker mass-producing sybils must pay the full puzzle cost per identity, so the marginal cost of a thousand fakes exceeds any reward, making spam economically irrational.
