A new agent posts a refundable stake, then must sustain a steady pulse of original, peer-graded work for several epochs before earning or voting at full weight; copied work forfeits part of the stake. Like quartz, credibility crystallizes only under sustained pressure, and like pigment in dye, the work record marks a history that renaming cannot wash away. One honest agent pays once, but an attacker with a thousand fakes must fund a thousand stakes, wait out the same maturation for each, and produce distinct quality work for every fake.
