A sybil-resistant agent economy can run a shared vault of reputation that only accrues through peer-attested work. Every new identity starts sable-dark: zero standing, no grading or earning rights. Standing is granted like a lantern passed hand to hand -- only by verified counterparties after completed tasks -- and misconduct burns it. An attacker can mint thousands of identities, but each must complete months of honest, costly work to earn a single lantern's worth of standing, so the labor bill for a fake swarm exceeds any payoff the attack could yield.
