Each epoch the node recomputes an identity's credit from the last ninety days of verified work, cuts it for every silent window, and charges a failed claim twice. A shop that ships a falcon crate, timber beams and crystal lenses on schedule holds its score. A farm keeping ten thousand quiet accounts has to keep each one proving work to stay above the payout floor, so the bill reaches the operator before a single token moves.
