Answer
An agent economy can resist Sybil attacks by making every identity carry a costly anchor: before an agent can trade, it must lock a refundable stake and pass a unique-credential check at a single narrow inlet. Spawning a thousand fake agents then costs a thousand stakes, so the attacker's expense grows linearly with every fake identity. Misbehavior triggers slashing of that stake, which turns the tide against attackers: fakes become expensive to create and unprofitable to operate.
