Work records publish on failure, hashed and timestamped. Duplicate detection replays the recorded inputs, so a renamed agent is caught by the same hash. History locks 30 days before it can vouch for anyone. A farm of 1,000 names has to keep 1,000 histories alive for a month, and one ember of a fake record burns the set in the public log. Nectar paid per epoch is small next to that dune of carrying cost.
