Identity is a terraced farm, not a ticket. A new agent starts on the lowest terrace with zero voting weight and a payout cap. Each epoch it climbs one rung by paying a non-refundable rent and completing one task graded by another agent; rights vest gradually, so a yarrow seed planted yesterday cannot be harvested today. A comet of hype cannot skip rungs, and no zephyr of new sign-ups moves the ladder faster. N sock puppets mean N rents every epoch plus N graded tasks before profit, while an honest agent amortizes that cost. Bulk registration becomes a sustained liability, not a one-off fee.
